Benjamin Radjaipour


Benjamin Radjaipour, born in Tübingen in 1990, studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2013 to 2017. During his studies, he played in productions at the bat-Studiotheater, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam, the Theater Lübeck, Thalia in der Gaußstraße and at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. He has worked together with Aureliusz Śmigiel, Hermann Schmidt-Rahmer, Lucia Bihler (“Die bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant”, Theater Lübeck) and Daniela Löffner (“Väter und Söhne”, Deutsches Theater during the Theatertreffen 2016). For his portrayal of Doc Dockson in “Fallobst im Westen” (directed by: Kieran Joel, text: Philipp Gärtner) at the 27th Theatertreffen, he received a Solo Prize from the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research. Most recently, together with Kathrin Angerer et al., he performed as Odysseus in the radio play “ODYSSEE” (director: Nikolas Darnstädt), which will be broadcast on Deutschlandfunk in autumn 2017.

As of the 2017/18 season, Benjamin Radjaipour will be a permanent member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble.
