After a year of schooling under pandemic conditions, we take stock of the situation

In the digital academy “What is the City?”, the Kammerspiele has been dealing with formative questions about the future of the city since October 2020. What are the valuable assets of the community that need to be shaped?
After a year of school teaching under pandemic conditions, we take stock: What experiences and insights from the 14 months of digital teaching can be valuable for an education of the future? What role do digital tools play in the learning of the future, how can they be used meaningfully and where is the analogue encounter irreplaceable? How can students, teachers, trainers and politicians agree on necessary changes? What kind of learning culture and structures do students and teachers want? Do we need new forms of teaching? Could schools perhaps prepare their students even better for life in society? How much experimentation and freedom are possible, how much regulation is necessary? Join the discussion!

With: Konstantin Kloppe (Year 11 pupil), Antonia Veramendi (Headmistress Campus di Monaco), Michael Piazolo (Bavarian State Minister for Education and Culture), Peter Mareis (Headmistress Gymnasium Dachau), Philippe Wampfler (Expert for learning with new media, trainer, teacher)

Moderation: Alex Rühle (SZ), Viola Hasselberg (Münchner Kammerspiele)

Please note that we will be recording the event.
