Treffpunkt/Meeting point Kammer 2

Exhibition in cooperation with Sammlung Goetz

In the context of the world premiere of Ryan Trecartin’s screenplay for “The Re’Search”, the Kammerspiele are showing a large multimedia installation by the American artist in cooperation with the Goetz Collection.
“Premise Place (edit 1)” (2009) contains seven video works, which will be staged in two rooms with furniture and fragments from the respective film sets. The installation was shown once in 2009 as part of the exhibition “The Generational Triennial: Younger Than Jesus” at the New Museum in New York and can now be seen in Europe for the first time. As part of the exhibition, a book launch will also take place by Merve Verlag, who have published a bilingual edition of The Re’Search (translated by Tobias Haberkorn), which is described as “a literary work of art from the (near) future”.
