100 Songs

A group of women, men and children. They are all sitting on a departing train at 8.54 am. They don’t know each other and seem to have nothing in common. Or do they?

They don’t know that this will be the last train journey of their lives. The train explodes at 8.55 am.

So how can you describe the incomprehensible, make it audible? As different as the people are, in the catastrophe they are one community, in the lived, the unlived, in the nothingness and all the songs heard seconds before.

“100 Songs” is a linguistic concert - a requiem. In ever-changing arrangements and scenes, the play plays with time and coincidences. Above all, however, it shows how precious every single moment of our lives is.
