tofan (sturm) is a literary anthology about friendship, the haunting of revolutionary movements, rebellion and holding on. The texts in the anthology, which give expression to Afghan, Kurdish, Armenian and Iranian freedom struggles, among others, attempt to break down conventional notions of nation, ethnicity and state. In a performative reading followed by a discussion, Armeghan Taheri and Sâre Zer offer new ways into their texts. The texts of the two authors are linked by elements such as home, borders, shame and mourning.
