The Habibi Kiosk goes mobile. We’re going out onto the streets of Munich – just like a real kiosk! We have found a kiosk icon for this: The K67 kiosk – a modular space system by Slovenian architect Saša J. Mächtig. The red cube becomes a meeting point, a counter and a stage. The K67 is a remnant of socialist Yugoslavia, a restored icon that shaped the urban cityscape for decades. What or who shapes the public space in Munich? Who meets here at the kiosk? Who lives here, shapes the city? Together with actors and artists from the city, we invite you to conversations and get-togethers, kiosk concerts, readings and more – in and around K67!

As part of the “What is the City NOW?” festival, we will inaugurate K67 on Maximilianstraße.

Music that hugs and shakes. A slap in the face never hurt anyone? But only if it’s made of punk and dub attacks. A layer of Balkan orientastique on top, garnished with Italo schmaltz. If you don’t melt, you’ll get the guest worker blues paired with Türküolasevdah on your eyes and in your heart.
