Throw your queer gaze on me

Over the course of an afternoon, we will focus on the “queering” of portrait and nude photography.

Participants get together in teams of two and photograph each other. We will reflect on questions such as “Who is looking at whom?”, “Where do the boundaries of looking and being looked at blur?” and the consensus in all forms of photography that include people in front of the camera. We look at each other, look back and at the end of the afternoon we may have pictures that we want to present to the others, or that we decide never to show to anyone. The workshop is deliberately intended to be open-ended.
