Virginia Olivia Obiakor

Virginia Olivia Obiakor is a social work student, film and television actress, spoken word artist and queer feminist activist. She is passionate about writing about her personal experiences as a young Black woman in a white-dominated society. Alongside her studies, she organizes and hosts her own events, such as “Black Performance Nights”, to give the Black community space for exchange, empowerment and art. As a moderator, she guides her audience through various performances by Black artists. She is also part of the Queer:raum collective in Munich and has recently started working as a visual artist.
