Marliese Glück

Marliese Glück is a freelance frame drummer and specialist in traditional Arabic and Anatolian percussion. In addition to a wide range of musical projects from traditional Arabic and Anatolian music to early music, jazz and contemporary music, she is a permanent member of the band MAQAMUNDO, which plays a modern fusion of Arabic and Spanish musical traditions, and of the trio Aman Aman, which interprets songs from the eastern Mediterranean region in a completely new way.

Her concert activities have taken her beyond Germany to Austria, the USA, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. Marliese Glück is always enthusiastic about collaborating with other art forms such as literature, visual arts and dance.
