In cooperation with youngcaritas, Careteria and JUST münchen, young people explore the topic of identity. Who we really are. Together we will see two new productions from the repertoire “Amerika/Der Verschollene” and “Mia San Mia”, exchange ideas and get creative together.

11:00 Rehearsal stage 3 | Meeting point: front desk of Münchner Kammerspiele (Falckenbergstr. 2)
Joint workshop "Who we are?"
With Pedro Muñoz and Carolina de la Maza | Languages: English and Spanish

The workshop aims to experiment through the body, exploring the subjective world of each performer, their references and imaginary, supported by creativity. The biography and ideology of each participant will be explored in order to discover how to move collectively. Through concepts proposed by the group, we will find a space free of prejudices where the body will be the main narrative instrument with which we will try to decipher who we are.

13:00 Theater canteen
Lunch
14:00 Rehearsal stage 3
Optional workshop 1 „Wann wird Kleidung zum Kostüm?“
With Mai Strathmann and Saige Danyluk | Languages: English and German

If you could capture yourself, restricted only to clothing and makeup, how would you do it? How are people/characters portrayed through what they wear? When we see something what does it tell us, what kind of codes do we give through how we present ourselves? Come listen and discuss the importance of clothing, and give a thought to how you choose to carry yourself through this world and why!

14:00 Assistants' room
Optional workshop 2 „Aussage und Wirkung – Kostümentwicklung“
With Jacqueline Elaine Koch | Languages: English and German

The workshop will give you an insight into the creation of the costumes for the play "Amerika / Der Verschollene". We will develop our own costumes on the theme of identity from the Münchner Kammerspiele costume collection and then record and examine them in sketches. We look forward to creative minds, new ideas and stimulating discussions.
